About Home Notes

Last updated October 2, 2026

Home Notes is an online magazine of in-depth guides, light reads and practical inspiration for everyday life. We started with humor and wordplay because people use it constantly, in cards, captions, classrooms and group chats, yet most of what is online is thin, copied or hard to use.

1. What we publish

Our first collection is Sports, Hobby and School Puns. It covers golf, football, music, books, math and science, and each guide is built to be the complete resource on its topic. Every guide has hundreds of original lines, a short summary, plain-English glossaries, answers to the questions readers actually ask, and a free printable PDF.

More topics are on the way, including animals, food and drink, holidays, nature and celebrations. We publish a topic only when we can cover it properly, so you will not find padded pages or near-duplicates here.

2. Who writes it

Every guide is written and reviewed by the Home Notes editorial team. Each line is drafted, read aloud, and checked for wordplay, tone and originality before it is published. We do not borrow lists from other sites, and we do not attach articles to invented experts.

Each page shows the date it was last reviewed. When we update a guide, we change that date so you can see how current it is.

3. How we work

We aim for guides that are useful on the first visit. That means clear structure, honest titles, and a clean tone that works in a classroom, an office or a family chat. If a joke needs explaining, we rewrite it. If a fact is shaky, we check it or cut it.

Photos come from free stock libraries and are credited on each page. You can read the full process on our Editorial Policy page.

4. Contact us

We read every message. If you have a question, spot a mistake or want to suggest a topic, write to us at info@homespunsecret.com or visit our Contact page.
